What I Wore: GUESS Jeans

Screen Shot 2013-08-17 at 1.32.54 AMIt has been a busy couple of weeks for me, attending events and doing shoots. I’m not complaining. For me, these are always fun, and most of the time exciting (whatever gets me out of the house should be good for me–I’m such a homebody haha). One thing I always whine about though is that I never have anything to wear (really). Constantly going to events requires an extensive wardrobe and some ingenuity (better known as finding new ways to mix and match pieces). Once you’re photographed, your look is captured and stays on the Internet or on newspapers and magazines’ data bases forever. So no repeats for a couple of months (I guess depending on where you wore the outfit). Or at least find new ways to wear the top/bottom/dress to create a whole new look (my personal trick is to wear statement accessories–this can change your outfit in a flash). Which is why I cannot be more thankful I have GUESS as a clothing sponsor (they’ve been kind enough to sponsor me for a year). Their trendy, versatile pieces mesh perfectly well with my existing wardrobe, which allows me to create new looks for events and shoots, and even just for everyday wear.

I was able to grab a hold of their newest collection, which I must say are stylish and wearable, and most importantly, still very me. Above are my picks for the month of August, and below are the ways I wore them. GUESS makes such easy and pretty clothes that are made well. I know these will last me a long time (this is a must when shopping for clothes–we should treat it like an investment).
