Dolce & Gabbana: THE ONE Desire

Scarlett Johansson for The One Desire Perfume By Dolce & Gabbana

A successor of Dolce & Gabbana’s more popular fragrances called The One (also endorsed by Scarlett Johansson, launched in 2006), The One Desire can best be described as luxurious, seductive, and ultra feminine. It delivers a sweet floral scent that’s longlasting but not overpowering. I think this is one of those fragrances that you can take from day to night, though I think you’d want to spray a little more for night. I like how it is both floral and sweet at the same time. I am a stickler for vanilla and sandalwood, and this particular blend really does it for me. It is sweet and sexy, but also warm and sophisticated.

Big thanks to Rustan’s Marketing Corporation for sending me a bottle. This will be a sweet addition to my growing fragrance collection.

(Press Release) The One Desire reveals in the top notes citrusy blend of bergamot, mandarin, lychee and lily of the valley, emphasizing the glamour and glory of a woman. The heart blooms with seductive tuberose which is cleverly laid out on the base which is made of caramel, vanilla, sandalwood and musk. The scent is designed by Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce, in cooperation with Givaudan’s in-house perfumers.

Dolce & Gabbana The One Desire is available in 30 ml (PhP 3,950), 50 ml (PhP 5,550), and 75 ml (PhP 6,850) bottles, Rustan’s.

  1. Scarlett looks so gorgeous in the adverts that I’ve already been considering getting a bottle without even smelling it! I love vanilla notes too – so I’ll have to go and give it a try
