This outfit is all about rediscovering the classic white button-down and a great-fitting pair of pants. These are as basic as you can get, which I thought was perfect since we’re fast approaching the New Year. Of course, when a brand new year comes we often take the time to reassess things and get back to the fundamentals. I guess in a way this was inspired by that.

This subtly studded blouse is from GUESS Jeans–a versatile piece I can wear in many different ways; pants are from H&M, heels from Stuart Weitzman, and purse from Kate Spade. The only accessories for this outfit is this fuchsia bag and a bright red lip, which happen to go really well together.
