How to make: The Painkiller

IMG_0425I have a new favorite drink and I wanted to share it with you! It’s a yummy cocktail called The Painkiller! I discovered it when I googled ‘amazing rum cocktails’ and found the recipe in a random site. I have to say, it didn’t disappoint, and it has become my go-to drink, especially on a relaxing weekend or after a long day of work. It is very easy to make, as long as you have the ingredients. For this post though, I used TROPIKAL CALAMANSI RUM (so its tastes way better). The calamansi flavor really gives the drink a refreshing kick–I really enjoyed it. Plus you can also drink it on the rocks, if you don’t have time to go to the grocery to get the other ingredients.

Ahhh writing this is making me want this drink right now!

IMG_0380Here’s what you need: (makes two)

8 oz. pineapple juice

2 oz. orange juice

2 oz. coconut cream

2 sprinkle cinnamon

4-8 oz. of rum (depending on your level of pain)

Sprinkle of nutmeg

IMG_0406Blend for a few seconds, though the original recipe says to shake to stir them together. Anyway, I like it blended.
