I have known Mich Araullo for a couple of years now. We share the same social circle, as I used to live in Alabang and she’s lived and worked there most of her life. I’ve always known her to be an up-and-coming fashion designer, but it is only recently that I’ve come to see her as a serious and established designer. Her work speaks for itself and it seems she has found her distinct style and voice in fashion. If you think of effortless, resort wear designs, Mich’s name will likely come to mind. Her style has always been classic and timeless, but she infuses a easy, luxe vibe to her designs that is wearable, comfortable and oh so chic.
I got to wear one of her designs during the recent baby shower I had with Patty for Cudsly.com. If you remember the coral and salmon dress I wore at the event (a lot of my readers and followers said they really liked it), well, that was by Mich! I sent her some photos of maternity dresses I liked and she came up with that design. I was a little concerned that my baby bump might be a problem for the style I wanted, but Mich totally worked around my bump. She was able to find a way to emphasize my belly and still make it look fun and youthful (she made the dress backless, which I loved).
When I went to her newly redesigned atelier for consultation and fitting, I was so impressed. I love how her design studio looks! It had a fresh and homey vibe to it, and every corner look incredibly chic with a style purpose. It felt like I was at a beach house, which immediately put me in a relaxed state. It definitely made it easy to discuss the design I wanted and even fitting the dress was a breeze.
So if you’re looking for a fashion designer with a fresh perspective, I suggest you get in touch with Mich Araullo. Apart from being easy to work with, you’ll find that she is able to balance your concerns and her chic style to come up with a fab design. She definitely comes highly recommended.
