Discover classic Cantonese cuisine with a new twist: Marco Polo Ortigas’s Chinese restaurant, Lung Hin introduces a brand new light yet flavorful menu.
Lung Hin has been known to serve only the most authentic dishes–Carlos and I became instant fans of this restaurant when we dined here a few months ago. The dishes here are so good! And now, they are even better as their menu now offers healthy alternatives without sacrificing its authentic flavor.
Starting off with a culinary masterpiece: Steamed Shrimp Balls with Dried Scallops, which is light and tasty, and consists of only the freshest seafood. Then, there is the Deep Fried Tofu with Seaweed Salad, a crowd-favorite starter that combines shredded taro, cabbage, and carrot, with thin slices of seaweed on top and Japanese Tofu, drizzled with special sesame dressing. Another bestseller: the Bean Curd Roll, is reinvented as minced pork, garlic chives, and special XO sauce is combined and deep-fried to perfection. And taking seafood another level is the Stir-fried Crystal Prawns, which is one of my favorites. To add, they have an interesting take on Cantonese Spareribs–a deep fried version seasoned with Black Vinegar Sauce, which perfectly complements the tenderness of the spareribs. Other healthy and authentic dishes include Poached Live Garoupa with Mushroom, Sauteed U.S. Scallops with Fresh Ginsend and Black Fungus, and Chilled Drunken Shrimp.
Seriously, now is the time to indulge in these superb culinary masterpieces at Lung Hin, located at the 44th floor of Marco Polo Ortigas Manila (open for lunch and dinner).
