My PASSIONista feature on Tippi’s blog: Behind the Seams

Happy New Year! <3 I hope you’ve all had a wonderful holiday season, and not sick like us over here at Casa Fernandez. My little family had to miss out on most of the Christmas and New Year festivities as our little boy got sick a few days before Christmas. He woke up to a 40 degree fever which dragged on for five days. And since we didn’t know what was causing the high fever, we had to go the hospital quite a few times. Thankfully, it was not dengue, measles or UTI, which were among the many things Tristan’s pediatrician was worried about. It turned out to be a bad sore throat and cough, which Carlos and I caught when Tristan got better. And so we completely missed out on all the family reunions and get-togethers (still so sad about this), and we weren’t able to give presents this year like we always do!

Anyway, I’ve been meaning to do a big New Year’s Day post but I am still not feeling 100% so I’ll keep this short. Instead, let me share with you a feature that came out in fashion designer Tippie Ocampo’s blog: Behind the Seams (www.tippiocampo.com). She was so sweet to include me in her list of PASSIONistas (along with supermodels like Tweetie de Leon-Gonzalez, Ria Bolivar and Marina Benipayo). I had so much fun doing the shoot at her atelier as I got to try on her newest collection. To read more about this feature and to see more photos, click HERE. I think you will enjoy Tippi’s blog–her fashion style is distinct but timeless, understated but special and handmade.

Again, Happy 2017! Wishing you only good things for the New Year–let’s make this an amazing year! <3
