I just had to share my newest culinary discovery: AGOS by Chef Tatung. I featured this Filipino-Spanish restaurant in my lifestyle-travel show, Trending With Kelly and wow, I never ate so well. The restaurant has a wonderful selection of dishes that are sure to impress and satisfy every craving. Lumpiang Sariwa (P190). Sautéed vegetables wrapped in tender pandan, uwe and egg crepes served chilled with sweet peanut-garlic sauce.
Chicken Sisig Lettuce Wraps (P330). A healthy alternative to sisig. A DIY chicken sisig lettuce taco set with crispy taro strings and mango sauce.
Binagoongang Pork Belly (P360). Deep fried pork belly, bathed with tomato-bagoong sauce. This is served over eggplant mash.
Paella Fiesta Filipina (P580). Something that has become our own. This paella is cooked with a festive mix of seafood, chicken, smoked chorizo and vegetables and given its beautiful color with achuete oil.
Pollo con salsa Tsokolate (P290). A rediscovered recipe from the turn of the century Philippine kitchens. Chicken braised in dark chocolate sauce. Definitely worth trying.
