About Me

I now have an ‘About Me’ video for my blog!

The Pats (Patty Laurel and her husband Patrick Filart) went through the trouble to conceptualize, shoot and edit this video, which was really a labor of love. I thought they did an AMAZING JOB. They consulted me for the important stuff, like content and treatment, and took care of everything else–even making sure I was comfortable and well-fed at the shoot.

Admittedly, I was a little hesitant about doing a video about myself. It seemed so narcissistic, and really, what do I say?!! But The Pats showed me a worthy peg that I thought was smart and insightful. And when I thought about it, doing the video did make sense as it lets my readers to know more about me–a lot more than they would from reading a static write-up.

I hope you guys like it. Patty did a great job interviewing me. She made it easy for me by asking such candid questions–thanks again Patty! And, of course, A BIG THANK YOU to Patrick and his talented team: THIRTY SIX-O! The team was quick, professional and most importantly, they made me look good (haha). This was such an easy shoot to do! Thank you for all your time and effort. This video was shot using a remarkable device called BLACKMAGIC Cinema Camera!
