My version of sporty

As far as I can remember, I’ve never been a fan of sporty clothing. It might be because I never really got into any specific sport when I was growing up so I always felt like an imposter whenever I would attempt to wear anything with a sports logo on it. So that’s why this is the sportiest you’ll ever see me (I know, I am still wearing a dress). This dress from High Street by H2M (follow them on IG: @highstreetbyH2M) is super stretchy and comfortable. It is perfect worn with these white sneakers from Gola and a neoprene jacket I got from Korea (brand is TopTEN). Oh, and I wore a little tank top under the dress for modesty sake–I think it gave the dress a sporty vibe so it worked.

Mom uniform

To be honest, since becoming a mom, I’m allowed less and less time to get ready in the morning. And so instead of being forced to leave the house wearing mismatched, hurried outfits, I’ve made a section in my closet where I put all my no-brainer “mom uniforms”. This dress from Shop 5 Minutes (follow them on IG: @shop5minutes) is one of them. Not only is it super comfortable, it hides all the spills and littles messes I get from taking care of a toddler. I wore it with these comfy leather sandals from Tres Shoes (IG: @tresshoesph) and a stylish diaper backpack from Charlie Baby (IG: @charliebabyPH). Problem solved!

Spread the love with COACH

img_2616I love this new direction COACH has taken for Spring 2017. The collection is fresh with faded florals and mashed-up prairie dresses worn with the ease of a t-shirt, reconfigured with the toughness of biker leather, gangs and pumped-up rockability moccasins. The accessories are especially eye-catching, as it has elements of studding, fringing and hand-worked metal, reimagined and decontextualized in a New York City-style.

Carlos and I gave each other Valentine’s Day gifts this year, and decided to pick out bags from COACH (my idea). I love that we were able to get each other exactly what we wanted, and they are such amazing pieces, we used them right away.

I chose the Nomad Crossbody with Western Rivets for myself. It is absolutely gorgeous, with its soft Glovetanned leather and slouchy silhouette. Its original hobo style is comfortable for everyday wear, especially since it comes with a detachable strap for convertible wear. It has a cowgirl cool vibe, thanks to the western rivets (a nod to the eclectic craft of Santa Fe by the way of New York City).

And Carlos chose the Metropolitan Slim Brief in Pebble Leather. He needed a leather bag that fits his laptop, and this was just perfect. The color is thanks to me (my husband would’ve never chosen green right off the bat), and I am happy because (1) he is liking it more and more every day, (2) it fits his laptop and important work papers, (3) I can totally use it, too! I asked Carlos what he liked most about it and he said it is spacious and durable. I agree. I love the color and how light and handy it is–it also comes with an adjustable canvas strap.

I absolutely love how easy this outfit is. ❤ It is dressy enough to take me to events and meetings, yet it is super comfortable. Both top and pants are from Details, the leather block heels are from SM Parisian, and earrings are from SEPA (follow them on IG: @sepacebu). ❤
