Meet the newest Knorr Chef Ambassadors: Martin Jickain, Marvin Agustin, Dianne dela Cruz, Joseph Patrick Anglo and Tristan Encarnacion.
I am not a very good cook. I think everyone close to me knows that. The most I can cook is breakfast food: bacon and scrambled eggs or French toast and coffee. (Or food you can easily fry or reheat.) I don’t even know how to make an omelette or pancakes, let alone a decent meal like bulalo or everyone’s favorite, adobo. It is one of my insecurities, and I promised myself I will seriously dedicate time and effort to learn how to cook. It will happen this year, or sometime in the near future. Basta, one day.
One thing food-related I love doing though is eating. Like most of you, eating makes me happy. I love trying out different cuisine and experimenting on fusion food. I know I am far from calling myself a food critic, but I know what I like. And I have to say, I really liked the super filling merienda we were served at the Knorr event last week.
Knorr invited me to their event to try the latest and yummiest creations made by their chef ambassadors. Imagine being served one delicious meal after the other by the best chefs in the metro. I was only on dish three and already I had to readjust my belt to make more room for two more dishes. Each dish was unique and delicious, and guess what, the recipes are online (go to knorrrecipes.com.ph). Surely, Ill be cooking up a storm for my family and friends (get ready guys haha).
Check out the awesome feast we were served:
Sinigang na Bulalo, made by Chef Tristan.
Organic Sagada Rice Paella with Seafood by Chef Martin.
Escabeche by Chef Dianne.
Chef Dianne and the humongous lapu-lapu she served.
Chef Jayps being interviewed by the event host Issa Litton.
Lechon Kawali with Roasted Pumpkin Gata by Chef Jayps.
Chef Marvin and his Pinakbet.
Ready to try all the dishes. What a treat—we got to eat with the chefs.
Look at all that food! My favorites: Sinigang na Bulalo (because it was different: it had grapes) and Lechon Kawali with Roasted Pumpkin Gata. But heck, everything was so good.
