Its my second day as a “fashion blogger” and I think I am starting to get the hang of this. Somehow I am becoming more open to experimentation, pairing items I wouldn’t normally wear together to create a new look.

For instance, I tried wearing this striped slouchy sweater (P2695) over a printed dress (P1995) (both from Chocolate) and added a black & gold belt (from H&M) to pull the outfit together. Somehow it worked and it actually looks great together. I didn’t want to add accessories anymore because of the busy prints so I simply wore bright red lipstick (MAC Lady Danger) to finish the look.

I like the way this outfit turned out. I think I’ll be mixing and matching my wardrobe more now. There’s just so much you can do to make your everyday clothes look different. And it is always a happy surprise when you find out that two unlikely pieces can look fab together.
