Moving

Wow, moving is hard! And I don’t just mean moving houses, but moving from one blog to the other. I’ve just spent the entire two days fixing all my old posts to fit the new format of my blog. Of course, it only took WordPress one minute to move all my Tumblr posts. The OCD in me though couldn’t take how everything looked so I painstakingly fixed each and every post. It was like a flashback into 2012, which was kind of cool, until I got tired and I just wanted everything to be finished.

And so you can now see all my old posts in my new blog. All the way from May 2012! Now what I want to do is to put my ‘Recent Posts’, “Archives’ and ‘Categories’ to one side of my blog for easy access, but I can’t seem to figure out what to do. I may need to ask help from a web designer! Anyway, overall I am pleased with the way my blog looks, but I know it can still look better. Hopefully, I get to become more html-saavy so I can do exactly what I want without any help.

So what I wanted to do was to announce that all my posts are now in one blog! I would like to throw a party to make this announcement official but this blog post will do! Yes, folks! I have officially moved to kellymisa.com and I hope to stay here for a very long time!!! Oh and I would appreciate all your suggestions on how to make this blog better. Just leave me a comment and I shall get to it the best I can. 🙂

Hi, Ms. Kelly! I’ve been a fan of your blog ever since tumblr. You can also put a Contact Page where people can get in touch with you just like what I’m looking for: your email address 🙂 Thank you and I just have to say, your blog looks fab! 🙂

Thanks very much! 🙂 I’ll work on adding a Contact Me page. That’s actually a great idea.

Hi Kelly! I’m guessing the reason you’re not able to put your archives and old blog posts at the sidebar has something to do with your theme. If your new blog is powered by wordpress, try choosing a theme with a sidebar..same goes with blogger.

Congrats on the new-old blog btw! 🙂
