Dressing up requires a bit of an effort, especially if you plan your outfits everyday. But it can nonetheless be rewarding, especially when it makes you feel confident and beautiful. This is what I’ve learned in these past few days since I’ve shifted to fashion blogging (for just 10 days). Yes, this week I’ve taken on a fashion challenge that pulls me out of my comfort zone (otherwise known as my lazy uniform of loose tops, leggings/jeggings and ballet flats) and into the world of OOTDs. Thankfully, the brand that has sponsored this challenge carries easy, wearable clothes that are still very “me”. I can move with ease from one meeting to the next, and even incorporate a few shoots into my schedule without pulling and tugging at my clothes.
And today, with its impossible heat, I’ve managed to put together a pretty summer ensemble that consists of a chambray shirt, crochet shorts and (gasp) bright red shoes to match my bright red lips. I think this outfit looks easy enough but still put-together and dressy. My gold accessories (a watch, along with a few charm bracelets) add a little something to the look and makes this more than just a shirt and shorts combo.
