The Day I Wore: An Infinity Scarf

Lately, I’ve been forced to seriously reassess my closet. I am now on my 18th week of pregnancy and my tummy is growing quickly, which means nothing fits me anymore (okay, I’m exaggerating, maybe half of my clothes fit me now). I’ve already segregated my closet to ‘CAN STILL FIT’ and ‘FORGET IT’, just to make dressing up easier (though every week more and more pieces move to the ‘forget it’ section). I have to say, I am a little shocked with my sense of style, because I’ve allotted so many tight, cropped, cinched articles of clothing over the years. I didn’t think I had that many skin-baring tops and dresses in my closet! What an eye-opener. They now look extra tiny when I hold them against me in front of the mirror (yeah, I need to hide them, quick).

So while I am still holding on to whatever article of clothing can fit me, I’ve decided I love scarves. They fit me no matter how big I get, they keep me warm and comfy, and they make an otherwise dull outfit look stylish. I especially love infinity scarves, because they’re so easy to wear and you can do so much with them. This one I’m wearing is from I.M. Presa (FOLLOW them on Instagram: @impresafashion and LIKE them on Facebook: www.facebook.com/impresa.ph). I got this a couple of months ago, and I’ve been wearing it ever since I got it. I usually wear it with a tank top and jeans, but this time I wore it tucked under a Suiteblanco maxi-skirt. I love how it turned out, it totally looks like a dress. My necklace is from Joyce Makitalo, which is from her 1969 collection available at http://www.seektheuniq.com. Ring is from Morellato.
