Christmas is fast approaching, which means it is time to start shopping! I know some people who have been slowly shopping since September. If you are one of them, good for you–there’s no need to ride the holiday rush. But if you are like me (Ms. Last Minute), then you are most likely still making your Christmas list right now while trying to budget your money so you can buy presents for all your family and friends.
Trying to figure out what to give to whom is always a difficult task, but if you ask me what I want for Christmas, it’s simple. I want more charms for my Pandora bracelet! I’ve been building my bracelet for some time now, and so far, most of my charms were given by people who are special to me. This makes the bracelet even more valuable to me, because each charm holds a special meaning. I love how each one brings me back to a moment, a happy occasion, and reminds me of the person who gave it. Of course, it helps that these hand-finished jewelry are also beautifully made, which makes me want to wear it everyday.
I got to preview Pandora’s 2015 Winter Collection recently and I couldn’t help but fall in love. The collection was inspired by the beauty of a landscape touched by frost–this features intricate silver bows accented with lustrous pearls and shimmering stones, as well as new button-shaped charms, set in sterling silver with cut-out hearts, faceted colored crystals and glittering cubic zirconia stones. Not only that, Pandora offers a gorgeous range of sterling silver jewelry with a shiny star shaped design called the Crystallized Snowflake series. These carry a snowflake motif encrusted with ice blue crystals and translucent cubic zirconia stones reminiscent of freshly fallen snow. And if that isn’t enough to bring on the holiday spirit, Pandora offers an array of yuletide designs, like reindeers, mistletoes, and presents that are all part of the Classic Christmas collection–the perfect complement to the traditional but distinctive holiday look.
The preview of the collection was a grand event in itself, complete with a winter wonderland theme and a delicious four-course dinner by Margarita Fores. Fashion editors and writers all enjoyed this beautiful set-up, and at the end of the night, we were all surprised with charms chosen for us by our loved ones. The gift came with a heartfelt letter from our special someone, which made the surprise so meaningful. It was a wonderful gesture by one of my favorite brands. Thank you, Pandora for making this Christmas extra special.
