How I get the best deals when I shop onlineI love this new direction COACH has taken for Spring 2017. The collection is fresh with faded florals and mashed-up prairie dresses worn with the ease of a t-shirt, reconfigured with the toughness of biker leather, gangs and pumped-up rockability moccasins. The accessories are especially eye-catching, as it has elements of studding, fringing and hand-worked metal, reimagined and decontextualized in a New York City-style.
Carlos and I gave each other Valentine’s Day gifts this year, and decided to pick out bags from COACH (my idea). I love that we were able to get each other exactly what we wanted, and they are such amazing pieces, we used them right away.
I chose the Nomad Crossbody with Western Rivets for myself. It is absolutely gorgeous, with its soft Glovetanned leather and slouchy silhouette. Its original hobo style is comfortable for everyday wear, especially since it comes with a detachable strap for convertible wear. It has a cowgirl cool vibe, thanks to the western rivets (a nod to the eclectic craft of Santa Fe by the way of New York City).
And Carlos chose the Metropolitan Slim Brief in Pebble Leather. He needed a leather bag that fits his laptop, and this was just perfect. The color is thanks to me (my husband would’ve never chosen green right off the bat), and I am happy because (1) he is liking it more and more every day, (2) it fits his laptop and important work papers, (3) I can totally use it, too! I asked Carlos what he liked most about it and he said it is spacious and durable. I agree. I love the color and how light and handy it is–it also comes with an adjustable canvas strap.
