As I was going through my Christmas list the other day, I noticed one thing: my list seems to be a lot longer this year! I found it funny because I don’t recall making more than a handful of new friends in 2017. But a lot of my friends did give birth, so new names were added to my yearly list. This happy realization gave me serious flashbacks to two Christmases ago, when my little family and I celebrated our first Christmas with Tristan. It was so special because Carlos and I were newly minted parents with no clue what we were doing (not that anything has changed haha), and we didn’t even have time to decorate our place because we were so busy and sleep deprived from taking care of Tristan.
