PMAP at 25

image

PMAP (or Professional Models Association of the Philippines) recently celebrated its 25 years at the grand hall of Marriot Hotel and wow, virtually every model showed up. From the up-and-coming models to the super established ones, the industry’s best all came out (dressed to the nines, might I add) for the fashion ball.

A photo exhibit by top photographer Jun de Leon lined the halls leading up to the ballroom. These photographs featured past and present members of PMAP wearing the latest fashion. There was also a fashion show that showcased the designs of Eric de los Santos, Jerome Salaya-Ang, Chris Diaz, Pablo Cabahug, Joel Escober, Maureen Disini, Kristel Yulo, Martin Bautista, Mark Tamayo, Vania Romoff and Nino Angeles.

It was the model event of the year!

PMAP partnered up with Pond’s to produce these set of photos. They feature the “Magic Seven”: PMAP models who have endorsed Pond’s through the years.

Ms. Kelly, how much is martin bautista’s price range? is it okay to call and ask the designer’s price range before you book for an appointment?

Hello Anne! Honestly, I haven’t worked with Martin Bautista though I am a huge fan of his work. I can’t say how much his price range is, but yes, it should be okay to ask what his going rate is for designing a dress. It shouldn’t be a problem. 🙂 Also, most designers are willing to work with your budget so it would be good to be open about this from the start.
