Skullcandy Roc Nation Aviators

I’ve been using these cool Skullcandy Roc Nation Aviator headphones for some time now and so far, they’ve been great. Its sound quality is above par—its definitely a big improvement from the flimsy earphones I’ve been using before these (don’t judge me haha). I know this is far from a new discovery, but headphones really make a difference when you’re listening to music or watching a movie. My old playlist of favorite songs sound new again. I could actually hear more of the songs than when I would just blast them from my speakers.

But though I really like the way it sounds, I think it could use a little more bass. I happen to like a lot of bass in my music, so I found that it could use some improvement in this area. However, this does have a positive aspect to it because when the volume gets really loud, the headphones can take it. This means there is no noise or sound distortion when I crank up the volume.

Design-wise, I love the way it looks. Skullcandy was designed like aviator sunglasses (hence its name: Aviators) so it gives the headphones a cool retro feel. I got mine in brown and gold and I think they look very stylish. Its gold accents definitely dress up my outfit when I’m wearing them out. My favorite thing about it is the way its plush leather earpieces feel against my ears. Its snug and comfortable, but you can still hear what’s going on around you. I usually do a lot of things at a time so its better for me to also hear the outside world. Other things l like: its foldable so they easily fit into your bag, it has a mic so you can use it to talk on your cellphone or computer, and it has playback controls so you can effortlessly adjust the volume from its cable.

Overall, this is a winner for me. Its looks pretty, and its performance is impressive. It retails for P6890, available at all Futureworld branches.
