My favorites at the Oscars

There were so many gorgeous gowns this year at the Oscars, I couldn’t stop ooooh-ing and ahhhh-ing! Elegant whites, voluminous ball gowns, uber sparkling dresses and incredibly-embellished frocks made my list of favorites.

www.thebeautyfile.comBest actress winner Jennifer Lawrence was a vision in Dior Couture. Though many people said it looked too bridal, I think it was amazing. My favorite part about this dress is the back, and really, it just made her fall look adorable and not so embarrassing.

www.usmagazine.comNaomi Watts looked stunning in Armani Prive. She really did a great job in The Impossible. I cried from beginning to end!

www.usmagazine4Jessica Chastain wears Armani Prive. Another gorgeous sparkling gown that night.

85th Annual Academy Awards - ArrivalsThis is a yes for me. Jennifer Aniston is always seen wearing the same boring black dress over and over. I’m glad she decided to wear this Valentino ball gown in shocking red to change things up. I just wish she did something more with her hair.

www.usmagazine.com3Sleek, modern and sexy would describe Charlize Theron’s Dior dress. I love its simplicity and clean lines. Adele! She can do no wrong in my book, with that amazing voice of hers. Her dress by Jenny Packham is beautiful. Oscar de la Renta gown is perfection on Amy Adams. I’ve always loved ruffled details and big ball gowns. This one is so soft and beautiful.

www.usmagazine.com2Amanda Seyfried in Alexander McQueen. I love how soft and embellished this gown is, and the neckline is very 90’s, which makes it look interesting.

85th Annual Academy Awards - ArrivalsAnother gown by McQueen that night was worn by Salma Hayek. That gold neckline is just divine!

www.businessinsider.comI was definitely disappointed with the Prada dress that Anne Hathaway wore that night. The tailoring on the bust made her nipples super prominent and really, that’s all you saw. She did win Best Supporting Actress though, so that should make up for it.
