Giordano Concepts is now in Manila! This is exciting news, as before you’d have to fly to Hong Kong to be able to shop here. But now, its FINALLY here!
Giordano has always been one of my favorite brands, I mean back in the ’90s it was all about that iconic Giordano Classics t-shirt. I used to have them in all colors, and would wear them tucked in my high-waist jeans complete with my big buckle leather belt, white socks, sneakers and mini backpack. Of course, Giordano has been available in Manila for years now and has long since become my go-to store, especially when I’m in need of basics. But I guess in a lot of ways my style has evolved, and I am now into clothes that are more stylish and grown-up. This is what Giordano Concepts is all about. The brand carries clothes that are more modern and chic but still very effortless and wearable. It is a few notches higher in terms of style than your typical Giordano store and the materials used are more luxurious. So yes, you can say I was very excited to find out they were opening here, because finally we get access to these great-fitting clothes that can work as our everyday stylish staples.
And it seems a lot of people shared the same sentiment because celebrities, personalities, and bloggers flocked SM Megamall’s Mega Style Hall (its Megamall’s newest wing) for the opening of Giordano Concepts. I happily attended because I couldn’t wait to shop but I was also glad to be there with my modelling buddies Patty Laurel-Filart, Mikaela Lagdameo-Martinez, and Brent Javier. We were with great company too as Richard Yap (star of Be Careful With My Heart), Venus Raj, Divine Lee, Tim Yap, Tweetie de Leon-Gonzalez, Mikael Daez, Mikey Bustos, Laureen Uy, Camille Co, Nicole Andersson and Patricia Prieto were all at the event as well. The best part: each of us were styled by the Preview team, headed by Vince Uy and Daryl Chang, and we got to wear the latest collection of Giordano Concepts! It really was a fun evening!
