Once a year, Unilever invites its endorsers to its National Sales Conference. I always try my best to attend, because it is a great way to see my Pond’s girls and TRESemme style ambassadors (we rarely get to see each other because we’re all so busy). Plus, we also get to meet with the buyers of the brands and get to know our hardworking sales team. I don’t have any photos from our TRESemme segment, but I was able to get these great photos from Pond’s (thanks Patricia).
Our introductions were short and sweet. It felt a little weird to walk the runway again (I don’t even remember the last time I did), but it was reassuring in the end because I was beside these beautiful, inspiring women. Since 2014, we started the #BeautifulStory campaign, wherein each of us shared our struggles with beauty. It may be hard to imagine someone like Charlene Gonzalez-Muhlach or Heart Evangelista having to struggle with beauty, but we all did at one point in time. I think its refreshing to hear these kinds of stories and see the beautiful images from its commercials and billboards. It shows that everyone can be a #Pondsgirl, once you realize you are beautiful in your own way. We will be launching more stories like these in the months to come, which is really something to look forward to. I shot my story last year, and I can’t wait to share it with you!
