It has been a year since SM Makati relaunched their mega huge shoe department (you can read about it HERE). My last big shopping trip had my head reeling because I was surrounded by so many options–25,000 shoe options that is. It was crazy!!! I don’t think I ever went home with that many shoes–it was exhilarating! And so 12 months has passed since (though I was back there several times on my own, snapping up an occasional pair or two), and I was back once again for another round of insane shoe shopping.

And guess what, the ginormous shoe department just got bigger! So big, in fact, that it is now called SM SHOE CITY! Yes, SM Shoe City seriously has the biggest selection of shoes in the Philippines, carrying 300 brands amounting to 30,000 pairs of shoes for men, women and kids. It was like I died and went to shoe heaven. And while I was there I saw my blogger friends–Patty Laurel-Filart, who is my forever partner when it comes to these things, Jackie Go and Angela Nepomuceno were all there with me, trying on one gorgeous pair after the other. We took our shopping seriously, too, as we spent hours exploring this huge expanse of space, making sure we didn’t miss anything. It is every gal’s dream to shop that many shoes (we were feeling very Carrie Bradshaw that afternoon), and we have Von and Kelly of SM Shoes and Bags to thank for this wonderful experience. Oh and I broke last year’s record–I went home with SO MANY pairs of shoes, I have enough to tide me through these preggy months (of course, my choices this year were comfy flats and sandals).

If you haven’t visited SM Makati’s SHOE CITY (its located at the 4th floor), well, its time to make that trip happen. I assure you, you’ll find the best options here, more than anywhere else. Time to go shoe shopping!!!
