How I get the best deals when I shop online
Amazing news for us beauty junkies: French luxury skin care and cosmetic brand CLARINS just opened its latest boutique in the new wing of the Powerplant Mall in Rockwell, Makati. This means we can totally enjoy everything the brand has to offer, like sampling thier full-range of skincare, body care and makeup products and experiencing their Open Spa, a range of superfast facials complete with personalized skin diagnosis. And of course, we can expect Clarins’ very own experts to listen and give skin care and beauty advice to help us find the best products that work for our skin. I swear, this new Clarins boutique is more than just a store, they’re a full-on luxurious experience.
Following Clarins’ “It’s All About You” campaign, the boutique is centered on client interaction and champions the brand’s desire to make each one of us the center of attention. I definitely feel this when I’m in the store, as all my queries are answered, plus I get to try out their latest products (my favorite part). I love how this particular store is arranged by interest/need–like there’s the timeless bestsellers and the seasonal favorites, and there are sections dedicated to body care, pregnancy and post-pregnancy firming products, makeup, etc.
As expected, the official store opening was a fun and memorable event. Rustan’s The Beauty Source mounted the ClarinsBeauty Fair, which was an afternoon filled with exciting activities and sweet surprises. Everyone had an amazing time and each one brought home a little something–a gift from the Double Serum Wheel, the Body Fit Challenge, and the Flat Lay contest, or an illustration made by an artist who drew such beautiful portraits. Not to mention that one lucky winner of a FREE trip to Paris (more about that in a bit)!
The official ribbon cutting ceremony was led by Clarins Senior Area Manager for South East Asia Marine Lux, joining her in the red carpet were President of Rustan Commercial Corporation Donnie Tantoco, President of The SSI Group, Inc. Anton Huang, Assistant Vice President for Retail of Rockwell Land Corporation Lisa Gomez, and Division Manager for Rustan’s key brands under Cosmetics Perfumes and Toiletries Division April Marquez. It was such a well-attended and gorgeous event!
So, okay. Before I forget to mention it, GUESS WHO WON THE TRIP TO PARIS?!!! This blogger right here (points to self). I got the absolute shock of my life when at the end of the event they announced my name as the winner of the contest. They did an Instagram contest during the event where one guest had the chance of winning an all-expenses paid trip to the City of Lights, and really, all we had to do was post about the newly-opened store on social media. I am actually in the middle of planning this epic trip, and to be honest, I still cant believe I am going. I plan to go with my bestie Bianca Santiago-Reinoso (who super deserves this trip) but we haven’t finalized if we will be going this November or early Spring next year. I will keep you posted.
