Travel Diary: Amorita & Momo Beach

The Baby Barangay couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. While Metro Manila was drenched with torrential rain, Bohol had perfect sunny weather (we could hardly believe it ourselves). We felt incredibly blessed to be there with our kiddos, and also very relieved because we were seriously contemplating moving our vacation (traveling with the entire fam bam during rainy weather is no joke after all).

Our families–the de los Angeleses, the Fernandezes, the Filarts, the Ledesmas and the Reinosos stayed in beautiful Amorita Resort in Panglao City, Bohol and were treated to the most amazing 3 days. From their spacious, modern suites, to the delicious culinary offerings, Amorita did not disappoint. The resort pulled out all the stops to make our vacation the best one yet, and the Baby Barangay was more than happy to be there.

Most importantly, the resort made sure our kids enjoyed, which really meant the world to us. Aside from the huge playground and activities to keep them busy at 4pm everyday, there was the most inviting swimming pool that the kids loved so much.

Another highlight of the trip: spending a day at Momo Beach House. We love the rustic feel of this place and how family friendly it is–the kids ran and played to their hearts’ content. And of course, we had the most amazing lunch which really made our day.

I cannot share enough happy memories of Bohol. It truly is an amazing place to visit, especially when you’re staying at a luxe resort like Amorita. The Baby Barangay is looking forward to another trip, hopefully soon! xo
