I’ve been obsessed with MAC Cosmetics’ latest collection called Divine Night. Its a look with a modern ’70s feel, which is really all about that strong defined eye (in shimmer might I add), perfectly contoured cheeks, and a beautiful dark lip. Yes, in this case more is more, as the eyes, cheeks, and lips are unabashedly made up to create that luxurious feel of excess that is so reminiscent of the ’70s.
It is hard not to love this look, especially when we had the country’s top models wear it so beautifully. Yes, gorgeous ladies Ria Bolivar, Catriona Gray, and Jessica Yang were seen at the event posing till there’s no tomorrow with fiery red hair. I loved how each model represented different Pinay beauties: mestiza, morena and chinita, yet still had the same strong, wonderful makeup on. This shows us that anyone can wear this look, as long as it is worn with confidence.
Mineralize Eye Shadow, Blush and Skinfinish pair rich, contrasting shades with the graphic impact of limited-edition powder design. Fluidline in Macroviolet and Stares & Speculation get you noticed, while Kohl Power Eye Pencil lines eyes with glittering shades of pearl. Flash Lashes sharpens with ultimate definition. Lips exude allure in matching shades of Cremesheen Glass and Lipstick, and glossy nails with a lacquered finish are fit to fire up everyone’s envy. (Press release)
Dalal Mansour, MAC Resident Trainer for Melbourne, Australia was at the event to demonstrate the Divine Night look. It looked incredibly easy (of course, it helped that beautiful Valerie Weigmann was her model)–Ill definitely be trying this makeup on myself one of these days!
