My family and I have been going on quite a few “staycations” lately. I can’t help it, my love for hotel beds, in room dining and buffets, and gorgeous swimming pools make me say yes to these invitations. And apart from being spoiled and pampered, it is always a great opportunity for quality family time, which I am always a fan of. I even call my parents and brothers to hang out with us during the day, so we can all be together, and they can enjoy Tristan’s company.
Seda Hotel in Bonifacio Global City was no different. I just had to book a weekend with them, as I had such a memorable stay at Seda Nuvali a few months back. Backstory: one of our closest friends got married in Tagaytay and we needed a place to stay that evening. We opted for Seda Nuvai, which proved to be a good decision as I was on my third trimester that time and I needed to rest. We had such a relaxing time, that I was excited to stay at their BGC hotel when I got the invitation.
True enough, we enjoyed our stay at Seda Hotel, BGC! One thing I love about it is the hotel is ideally located in the heart of BGC, a few steps away from Bonifacio High Street, Serendra, and Market! Market!, which makes it the perfect hotel for anyone who wants many dining and retail choices. Its contemporary interiors, which are clean and streamlined, set it apart from other hotels. It showcases pieces by Kenneth Cobonpue, Ann Pamintuan, Tom Epperson, and photographer-industrialist Jaime Zobel de Ayala, which are displayed in the lobby, guest rooms, restaurant and bar.
The rooms have a calm and soothing effect, as its neutral colors and minimalist silhouettes relax the mind and body. I have to say, the beds are designed for maximum comfort (hooray for hotel beds) as my husband, Tristan and I slept so soundly that night. Part of the amenities include a wide-screen LED HDTV, a mini bar, an in-room safe that can fit a laptop, an executive desk, and a media panel with universal adaptor and USB/audio-visual connectivity. Carlos brought his PS4 with him so we were able to watch our favorite series during this trip and browse the Internet using the TV. But mostly, we enjoyed playtime with Tristan in the luxurious bed.
The next day, we had a heavy breakfast at Misto Lobby Dining. They had all my favorites at the breakfast buffet–I especially love their crunchy croissants, yummy cheeses and fresh fruits.
The pool was so relaxing! We spent the morning here admiring the view and enjoying the water. What a great way to spend the weekend!
