If there’s one thing I love, it’s shoe shopping. There’s really nothing more relaxing (or therapeutic) than spending a few hours of your day just trying on shoes. It is always fun, especially when you’re with your best girls (you can count on them to give it to you straight).

I didn’t want to miss out on a great event (and a day of shoe shopping). So I made sure to attend Bata Shoes’s third store opening in the Philippines, which was in SM Makati. As expected, I had a great time trying on their footwear, and ended up coming home with a few gorgeous pairs. I think Bata Shoes has found the perfect balance of style and comfort (oh, and their prices aren’t that bad too), which is really why they have been around for over a hundred years! The brand is originally from the Czech Republic, and has been in the Bata family for eight generations (something I didn’t know prior to attending the event).
